Jung grew up devouring National Geographic magazines and larger-than-life animal photo books. She received her first camera from her grandpa, who encouraged her to do “what she loves.” After a career in public interest work with great organizations, people, and causes, Jung finally realized she loves photography better than anything else on earth.
Jung photographs food, dogs, and people. Especially, she loves making images that matter to her clients - capturing the beauty of their food and products, creating portraits of beloved dogs, and collaborating on photo shoots. Supporting other women entrepreneurs is near and dear to her heart as well. Her passion for travel, spirituality, and healthy living also inspire and influence her work.
Jung’s commitment to the public interest continues. She works with and volunteers for local organizations including La Cocina and the San Francisco Society for Prevention of Cruelty of Animals (where you can catch her on most free days getting her "puppy fix"). She has been a Social Media Influencer for Enterprise Car Share and a guest Instagrammer for the City College of San Francisco Photography Department. Additionally, Jung is an active in the photo community as a member of the national American Photographic Artists (APA) and co-moderator of a local SF Female Photographers group. Her photos have been published in the East Bay Express and in the APA SF Something Personal Show Online Gallery 2017.
